🔴 DIGITAL ANTI-ART WORKSHOP

FORMAT: Downloadable video sessions, downloadable resources and participation in Discord server.

1- PROPOSAL

Designed after the experience of the experimental digital art workshops and the creative laboratory taught during 2024 remotely by the artist Nik Pepsi, this space aims not only to technically and conceptually train its participants with regard to various forms of digital art on the Internet, their aesthetics, their memes and the importance of their representation, but also to provide social and community support through a space conducive to multicultural and international exchange of which they can be part within the framework of this workshop and permanently.

A space for those who seek to learn to stand out in the creation and design of graphic and audiovisual pieces of different experimental and contemporary styles, with a conscious knowledge about experimental creative practice and contributing to the development of their own forms and personal artistic style. Throughout the workshop, participants will receive tips, tricks and secret fruits of Nik Pepsi's experience throughout his years of career as an independent digital artist dedicated to the production of image and experimental video on the Internet.

2- OBJECTIVES

Promote and contribute to artistic, creative and (why not?) Spirituality of the participants through guided practice and reflection of our digital production.
Claim the value of the game with the image and digital creative experimentation as therapeutic and necessary means for the construction and human sociocultural development.
Expand the knowledge of the participants about different forms and languages of digital art existing from both theory and supervised practice aimed at exploring latent artistic and creative possibilities.

3- METHODOLOGY

The workshop is dictated under the online modality and includes the course of 20 video sessions that include theoretical and practical content.
As a fundamental part of the proposal to achieve better communication and exchange within the digital spaces proposed for the workshop, each participant will receive access to the official Discord group of the Workshop, in which they will be able to share their work with the community of friends of Nik Pepsi and talk to other creatives from around the world, a place to share creativity free of complicated algorithms and annoying ads. Promoting collaboration between creatives, debate and constructive dialogue in relation to the development of ideas and artistic projects woven by digital networks; and thus claiming the value, meaning, function and possibilities of the current image in all its digital forms, video and all forms of experimental art in digital media by which we give shape and meaning to the discourses, expressions and realities of our time.
Since these are not live classes but pre-recorded video sessions, it is not necessary to have a specific time availability. Participants will receive access to the video-sessions for viewing in the time available. Practices and consultations will be managed through the official Discord group of the aforementioned workshop.
Those interested must complete the registration requirements in order to receive the material and access to the workshop group.

5- REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

A smartphone and/or tablet or computer to work with.
Be over 17 years old.
Specify the payment of the registration and participation fee of the workshop and send the proof of payment to Nik's official Instagram account @nikpepsi along with the participant data mentioned in the payment section available below below.

6- WORKSHOP REGISTRATION

7- TRIAL VERSION FOR U$20
